Use this form to submit up to six nominations for the Indie Next List. Alternatively, nominations may be emailed to indienextlist@bookweb.org.

| Tell a bookseller-friend to nominate a favorite book to the Indie Next List online at BookWeb.org. And we mean ANY favorite book – front list, backlist, hardcover, paperback, fiction or nonfiction, mystery, cooking, literary fiction or any other genre. Your friend writes a blurb, names you as his/her inspiration, and your team is entered into a random drawing to win TWO ABA Gift Cards, one for each of you worth $150! Nominations must be received by January 2, 2009. |
At least one member of the team must be a first-time nominator to the Book Sense Picks or Indie Next List. Both members of the team must be associated with an ABA Regular Bookstore member in good standing. Please see the the complete Official Rules for all the details.
Nominate Titles for the Indie Next List -- Everyone Can Do It!
Tips:
- Write conversationally, just as if you were talking about a favorite title with a customer in the store.
- Don't be intimidated by the quotes you see in the final Indie Next List. They've all been edited! (We'll take care of the grammar and punctuation....)
- You might already have a lot of nominations on hand—send in what's on the staff pick cards you've written up, or send in your staff picks from your newsletter or website.
- All subject categories welcome! Yes, there are many fiction titles on the Indie Next List, but there's a ton of great nonfiction out there, so don't hesitate to recommend a nonfiction title!
